ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Oct 23 2016 – Just three days after a successful seizure of approximately 853lbs of compressed ganja, the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) conducted another successful counter-drug operation.
On Friday, two men, 59-year-old Kirton Potter and 32-year-old David Nelson, were held in the Powells Area with a small amount of Cannabis. Subsequently, a search warrant executed at a Potters residence led to the discovery of an additional 170lbs 12ozs of Cannabis.
The combined weight of drugs seized totals 171lbs and carries an estimated wholesale value of ECD$684,000.00.
The two are expected to be arraigned in the Magistrate Court on Monday, October 24 to face several drug related charges.
