Agreement Reached Between CAL and Pilots’ Association

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Aug 13 2015 – The Management of Caribbean Airlines and the Trinidad and Tobago Airline Pilots’ Association (TTALPA) have reached agreement on the main terms and conditions of a first collective agreement for the period September 1, 2010 to August 31st, 2015.

CAL says the agreement covers several key areas which are aligned to the mutual interests and benefit of all parties.

Caribbean Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Michael DiLollo, thanked the TTALPA representatives and the Caribbean Airlines Executive Team for the levels of leadership, maturity and professionalism shown; which were critical to this successful outcome.

He stated “the transformation of Caribbean Airlines requires consistent collaboration with key stakeholders, to improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. I am also heartened that CAL and TTALPA have also reached agreement on major elements of the next collective agreement period; 2015 to 2018.”
