PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Jan 14 2017 – Police have recovered the body of a 16-year-old secondary school student a few hours after she left for school in Central Trinidad on Friday.
Police said that the body of Rachael Ramkissoon, a pupil at Northeastern College in Sangre Grande, bore several marks on her face, chest and legs.
The form four pupil was wearing her white shirt and black pleated skirt school uniform and was due to have sat an examination on Friday.
The authorities say they are awaiting the result of an autopsy to be done Monday.
