PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Jun 29 2016 – Caribbean Airlines (CAL) is urging its customers to ensure that they are informed about the vaccination requirements of the country they are visiting.

CAL gave the advice today in light of recent Yellow Fever health advisories issued by various countries.

It says this information can be obtained by checking with the relevant Ministry of Health, Embassy or Consulate of the country to which passengers are travelling before their travel date.

Head of Corporate Communications at CAL, Dionne Ligoure advised that people who intend to travel should ensure that their vaccinations are up-to-date.

Those travelling to Caribbean countries, Latin American countries, African countries and Asian countries are advised to carry their international immunization card with proof of Yellow Fever and other vaccinations.

Travellers should also ensure that their immunizations for transit countries are up-to-date.

Passengers are solely responsible for meeting all documentation and proof of citizenship requirements for travel, CAL added.
