CLARK’S TOWN, Jamaica, Feb 24 2017 – A man said to be of unsound mind has left a policeman unconscious after knocking him in the back of the head.
The incident happened in the Clark’s Town community of Trelawny around 9 o’clock.
It’s reported that the police were called to the scene after the man snatched a child from his mother against a court ruling.
On seeing the police the man released the child and attacked one of the policemen with a stone.
The attacker was subsequently shot by another policeman.
Both men were taken to hospital where the accused remains while the policeman was treated and released.
