Dominican Held With 128 Rounds Of Ammunition At Barbados Airport

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Apr 16 2017 – A Dominican man has been remanded to prion after he appeared in court Saturday charged with unlawful possession of 128 rounds of ammunition.

On Thursday, April 13, 62-year-old Pat Thomas, who is also a US citizen, arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport on a flight from the United States.

During a search of his luggage, customs officers discovered the ammunition concealed in two pairs of socks.

Thomas has been booked to reappear in court on April 19.
