ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Oct 17 2016 – The Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) has issued a complete ban on Samsung Note 7 devices for all carriers.
There have been nearly 100 incidents of the devices overheating and sometimes injuring owners.
Regional carrier LIAT said Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices will not be permitted in checked or carry-on baggage and may not be carried on-board any of its flights.
LIAT said customers with these devices will not be permitted to travel.
