TRELAWNY, Jamaica, Dec 15 2016 — Police have reported that a man, said to be of unsound mind, cut off a 70-year-old newspaper vendor’s head in the town of Falmouth this morning.
The woman was identified as Joycelin Gomez of Wakeland Drive in the parish.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) said the incident happened about 7:45 am on Market Street in Falmouth.
The suspect is in police custody, CCU said.
