An American visitor to Barbados died from drowning on Saturday at Pebbles Beach in St Michael, police say.
Dead is Ronald William Grane, 65, from Ohio.
He arrived on the island aboard the cruise ship Grandeur of the Seas on Saturday.
Police say Grane was on a bus tour and arrived at the beach around 10:05 a.m. His body was later discovered and brought to shore. He was treated at the location by personnel from the Island Care Ambulance service and was pronounced dead on the spot.
