Another earthquake rattles Jamaica

The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, says a tremor with a magnitude of 3.7 was felt in the north western section of the island early Thursday.

The unit reports that the epicentre of earthquake, that occurred at 3:41 a.m. (local time), was located 33 kilometres north of the town of Falmouth in the northern parish of Trelawny.

The quake had a focal depth of 15 kilometres.

There have been no reports of damage or injury.

This is the fifth tremor to be felt in Jamaica since late September.
