Antigua and Barbuda giving nurses $1K monthly top-up on salary throughout COVID-19 crisis

The government of Antigua and Barbuda has decided to pay an honorarium of $1,000 per month to the diligent and self-sacrificing nurses who are on the front lines, for as long as the COVID-19 crisis continues.

Just last week, the government had opted to applaud those health-care workers who are placed on the front lines in the fight, including nurses and orderlies, in several ways when this crisis is at an end.

The government continues to express gratitude to all nurses on behalf of the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
