ANTIGUA – Skerritt resigns as tourism authority chairman

Ricky Skerritt, the St Kitts and Nevis-native appointed as head of the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority has resigned, citing “personal reasons”.

Skerritt was appointed by then Tourism Minister Asot Michael in October 2016.

Skerritt served as Minister of Tourism in St. Kitts and Nevis for more than ten years between 2004 and 2015.

Skerritt is a former Caribbean Rhodes Scholar and a former Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).
