Barrels Of Drugs Found At Deep Water Harbour

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Mar 01 2017 – Law enforcement authorities here have found two barrels containing compressed marijuana.

The discovery was made on Tuesday during a joint operation between the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP), the Customs & Excise Division and the Antigua and Barbuda Port Authority at the Deep Water Harbour.

The barrels originated from the United States.

The Cannabis weighs 252lbs and carries an estimated wholesale value of XCD $1,009,500.00.

No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
