Cuban Migrants Repatriated From Cayman Islands

GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands, Sept. 10, 2014, CNS – Cayman Islands authorities have reported that close to 270 Cuban migrants have passed through the territory  this year.

Another 26 Cuban migrants were repatriated this week.

Government officials said that the Cuban migrants, who were all housed at the Immigration Detention Centre were supervised by Immigration and Prison officials, as they boarded a chartered flight from Owen Roberts International Airport bound for Havana.

The group included 25 men and one woman.
