As a former Caribbean leader, I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences and message of strength to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and the people of Dominica.
No words spoken at this time can lessen the pain of lost but I pray that Almighty God will give you the strength and courage to carry on, mitigate your losses and rebuild following this catastrophic event.
We as Caribbean people are strong, resilient and resourceful. We will find a way, together. This storm that came to divide us will only serve to unite us and make us stronger.
I am praying for you and the people of Dominica and all the countries effected by this and other natural disasters. One love, one Caribbean, one people.
