Grenada airport closed as TS Don approaches

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, Jul 18 2017 – Grenadian authorities have closed the Maurice Bishop International Airport as a Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the island.

Caribbean Airlines has also announced the cancellation of two flights to and from Grenada as a result of the closure and the impending passage of Tropical Storm Don.

The airline says BW438 from Port of Spain to Grenada and BW439 from Grenada to Port of Spain have now been cancelled.

Caribbean Airlines advises that it will not be responsible for arrangements or transportation to/from an alternate airport or hotel/overnight expenses incurred by affected passengers.
