Grenada to Welcome Creator of New Spiced Chocolate

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, Oct 15 2015 – Grenada is taking centre stage in London this week at Salon du Chocolat, the annual celebration of all-things-cocoa related, thanks to the Great British Spiced Chocolate Challenge (GBSCC) culinary competition.

Drawing more 15,000 visitors over three days, ‘Chocolate Week’ takes over Olympia, one of London’s major exhibition spaces, with tastings, cooking demonstrations, live music performances – including The Spice Boys band formed exclusively to promote the Challenge, a fashion show and a pop-up deluxe restaurant – united by a common thread: chocolate.

From over 100 amateur and professional chocolatiers who entered GBSCC to create a new spiced chocolate, only five are being judged at the final.

The winner of the Challenge – to be announced on Saturday, 17 October – wins a trip to the second annual Grenada Chocolate Festival in May 2016.
