Hurricane Hunter makes emergency landing at Grantley Adams International Airport

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Aug 02 2017 – An aircraft with at least 13 people on board made an emergency landing at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Wednesday, according to media reporters here.

Emergency personnel were on the scene at the airport for the emergency landing just before 9 a.m. (local time).

One of the plane’s engines caught fire shortly after take-off and had to be shut down and the Hurricane Hunter aircraft was forced to dump fuel before making the emergency landing.

There are no reports of injuries.
