Former Moravian Minister Rupert Clarke who is facing sex-related charges has had his bail extended.
Clarke appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court last week and is scheduled to return to court on November 23 when the prosecution will request that the case be transferred to Kingston.
The 65-year-old former pastor was taken into custody last December after he was allegedly seen in a comprising position with a 15-year-old girl in a car along the Austin Main Road in St. Elizabeth.
He was charged with having sex with a person under 16.
Following further investigations, additional charges were laid against Clarke regarding cases involving other members of the girl’s family.
In January, he was offered bail in the sum of $800,000
