JAMAICA – Five arrested in Hanover for suspected lottery scamming

Five men suspected of being involved in the lottery scam are in police custody following an operation in Kew, Hanover on Wednesday morning.
The men are reportedly from Mount Salem, Flanker and Cornwall Courts in St James, as well as Hopewell in Hanover.
Deputy Superintendent Sharon Beeput, Commanding Officer for the Hanover police division, said the police seized US$8,900 and J$83,000.
Several electronic items were also confiscated in the operation.
