Kanye West bringing his Sunday Service Series to Jamaica

Jamaica’s Culture and Entertainment Minister, Olivia Grange, says she’s elated American rapper, Kanye West has selected to bring his Sunday Service Series to the island.

Kanye’s Sunday Service performance in Jamaica will take place on Friday at Emancipation Park in New Kingston beginning at 7 pm.

The concert is free.

The rapper’s Sunday Service is a series of gospel concerts that Kanye West has been hosting across the United States.

More than 100 performers are due to travel with Kanye West to Jamaica for the concert.

Producer of the Event, Jonathan Coleman is already on the island working out all the logistics for the event.

Coleman says one of Kanye’s employees, who is Jamaican, pitched the idea for the rapper to bring the concert to the island.

This will be Kanye’s second time performing in Jamaica.

He previously performed on the island in 2004 at Reggae Sumfest.
