Marijuana destined for Barbados seized by U.S. customs officers in Ohio

Four pounds of marijuana destined for Barbados was found hidden in disinfectant wipes containers and other cleaning products by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The shipment, from Canada, was headed reportedly to a doctor in Barbados.

The package was held due to an inconsistency spotted in x-rays.

Port Director in Cincinnati, Richard Gillespie, credit the seizure on May 6 to the dedication and vigilance of Customs and Border officers.
