Matai Zamuel, a young Surinamese boy, has made a passionate call for an end to practices which are detrimental to the environment.
Matai is worried that the paradise in which he is growing up will disappear if business as usual continues.
Addressing an HFLD conference hosted by Suriname from Feb. 12 to 14, he urged those present to fight indifference and push boundaries for the planet’s environmental survival.
