NBC has fired Matt Lauer for inappropriate workplace behavior, according to New York Times reporter Jim Rutenberg.
Rutenberg tweeted that NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack wrote in a memo that there was a “complaint from colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer.”

Lauer was one of the highest paid news anchors making $28 million per year. He had been on the Today Show for 20 years.
