Supermarket worker killed in Trinidad

Supermarket worker Shawn Mohammed was shot dead by a man who stormed the family home in Trinidad on Friday night.

The grocery packer of Burial Ground, St Julien Village Princes Town died at hospital.

Mohammed, 33, was with his Venezuelan wife in a bed room at their home when they were alerted by the barking of their dogs. Mohammed went to make a check and a man entered the house and began shooting.

Mohammed was found lying on the corridor with gunshot wounds to his head and back.

The police and medical services were contacted. Mohammed died while undergoing treatment at the Princes Town District Health Facility.

Constable Valdez is investigating.
