CAL Increases Flights To Guyana For Golden Jubilee Celebrations

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, Apr 29 2016Caribbean Airlines announces an increase in its flight schedule between Guyana and New York to support the celebration of Guyana’s 50th   Anniversary of Independence.

“Guyana is an important destination for Caribbean Airlines, and we are delighted to continue our support of the activities in celebration of Guyana’s Golden Jubilee of Independence through the addition of more non-stop and direct flights between JFK, New York and Guyana,” Dionne Ligoure, Head of Corporate Communications said.

“As the airline with Flag Carrier Status, Caribbean Airlines is committed to the people of Guyana with whom we have enjoyed a long legacy of cooperation providing consistent and reliable service since our start in 2007.”

Caribbean Airlines’ has an average of six daily flights and carries over 350,000 passengers to and from Guyana annually. The airline offers daily non-stop service between New York and Guyana as well as seamless connections to other Caribbean and North American destinations.
