COVID-19 has now claimed seven lives in Haiti, according to the health authorities.
The latest death was recorded on Wednesday.
According to the details communicated by the Ministry of Public Health and Population , the victim in question was a young man of 20.
The patient died around 8 p.m., according to the MSPP.
General situation
To date, Haiti officially has 76 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Among them there are currently 61 active cases, eight cases of recovery and seven deaths.
