ANTIGUA – Jamaican Conroy Jones charged, remanded to prison

Wounding suspect, Conroy “Connie” Jones of Ottos, was charged by the police on Wednesday with wounding with intent to murder.

On Tuesday, Jones, a Jamaican national, surrendered himself to the police, two months after he went into hiding, for allegedly wounding his children’s mother. He was at the time accompanied by his attorney.

Jones was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison, where he awaits committal proceedings on February 9, 2018.
