Antigua Police Officers Being Trained to Effectively Fight Crime

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Oct 13 2015 – More than a dozen police officers are being trained in the proper preservation and maintenance of crime scenes; prevention of contamination, loss of evidence and transfer trace evidence.

The five-day course, at the Langford’s Training Academy, is funded by the United States Government through the US Embassy, based in Barbados.

Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Joseph Hughes said the police administration intends to embark upon sustainable training programmes geared towards the effective development of officers, in their fight against crime.
