Several residents throughout Antigua reported being frightened by a powerful earthquake Tuesday afternoon.
The US Geological Survey says the magnitude 4.7 quake was located 5km east south east of Parham or 17.078°N and 61.726°W at a depth of 21.6 km.
One man reported that it is the most intense he has felt in recent times.
According to reports, the tremor occurred at 4:26 p.m. and lasted for around 30 seconds.
One resident said items on his wall fell to the floor.
