Antigua to have dedicated airport lines for SIDS4 delegates

Antigua’s upcoming SIDS4 Conference will offer expedited airport services and tailored arrangements for delegates.

The government plans to streamline immigration and customs procedures with dedicated lines, alongside designated transportation options like taxis and buses for attendees’ convenience.

Additional measures ensure attendee comfort and safety, including graded accommodations (A, B, C) ranging from $200 to $280 per day, sourced from Airbnb listings, houses, and apartments.

Certified taxi operators and private security, including retired police officers, will enhance law enforcement efforts.

Health-care facilities will operate 24/7, with standby medical support. Despite a guest number reduction to over 3,000 due to limited flights, authorities are confident in sufficient accommodations.
