KINGSTON, Jamaica, Sep 01 2016 – Gunmen shot and killed two brothers during the early hours of Wednesday morning, police have confirmed.
They said Andrew Honeyghan, 21 and his 19-year-old brother, Akeem, were shot when the unidentified gunmen kicked in the door of their March Pen, St Catherine, home, a parish in the south east of the country, and opened fired upon them.
A third brother, identified as Akeem’s twin, is hospitalised in serious condition.
The Police Corporate Communications Unit said the three were asleep about 4:15 am (local time) when the gunmen struck.
They were all taken to hospital where Akeem and Andrew were pronounced dead.
