Buju Banton says cops searched his hotel room in Trinidad

Buju Banton, who is in Trinidad, said his hotel room was searched by police officers on Saturday.

Banton arrived in Trinidad on Friday for the I am Legend concert on Sunday.

He told fans on Instagram Saturday evening that a “bunch” of police officers turned up at his hotel on Saturday saying they had a warrant to search his room.

“I just want you to know, no matter what, they can’t break us,” Banton said.

“Still got love for you Trinidad, they can’t distract us. That’s why we’re here, for you, not them.”

  1. Bad behaviour like this I will not condoning to it ,from the no good T&T government .I am really ashamed of the PM of T&T to allowed this kind of foolishness, to be carried out by his Indians police against a black man for no apparent reasons. I know that long time ago that T&T is a very racist country against black people in general, also against Jamaican from the of federation. All who were born in that time will know about this incident. But it is a very sad situation what is taking place in the Caribbean, plus Jamaica is apart of North America also apart of caricom.
