Caribbean Culture Fund Information Session on US $250K in Available Grants Set for April 15

The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) invites creatives to an information session on its first round of available grants. The session is scheduled for Monday, April 15 at 10:00AM EST; participants may register by emailing [email protected].

CCF is a new initiative to support individuals and organizations in the arts and culture sector across the Caribbean. Focused on promoting social and cultural justice and fostering intercultural dialogue, the CCF aims to support a wide range of artistic endeavors, including visual, literary, performing and festival arts; film; interdisciplinary art forms; architecture, and design.

The first call for proposals opened on April 1 and will close on April 30. The information session Applications may be submitted between April 1 and April 30, 2024. Eligible countries for this round include Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, and Haiti, with plans to expand the reach in future calls. A total of US $250,000 will be distributed in this first round of grants.

Michele Pierre-Louis, Chair of the CCF Steering Committee and Dr Ayoka Wiles of the Open Society Foundation, funders of the first round of grants will address the interested applicants. The application form will be reviewed and applicants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the process.
