KINGSTON, Jamaica, Aug 1 2016 – Three Chinese nationals are to re-appear in court on Wednesday after being remanded into custody on charges related to credit card fraud.

The three –Zhong Jianping; 38, Guo Shanghai and Zhong Fulin, both 37 years-old – have been charged with being in possession of  data device; forgery of  access device; conspiracy to possess criminal property; unauthorised access of  computer data and being members of  a criminal organisation.

The men, who appeared in the St Andrew Parish Court, were arrested more than a week ago following a raid at a house they occupied in Barbican, St Andrew.

The police say they are also trying to determine whether the men are part of an international fraud network operating in the region after three other Chinese nationals were arrested in Dominica more than a week ago for a similar offence.
