Cop, Jamaican man held with narcotics at Trinidad airport

The Trinidad and Tobago police say a Special Reserve constable and a Jamaican man were held with narcotics at the Piarco International Airport on Saturday.

It’s reported that the woman – a  Special Reserve Police officer – who is attached to the mounted branch, was stopped and searched while attempting to board a flight at the airport.

The Jamaican man, was also preparing to board the flight.

The two were searched and officers found a quantity of drugs strapped to their bodies. 

The two were arrested and taken into custody.
