THE VALLEY, Anguilla, April 15 2015 – A six-member independent election observer mission has arrived here for the upcoming general elections.
Residents of this British overseas territory will go to the polls on April 22.
A total of 19 candidates will be vying for the votes of the approximately 11,000 registered voters.
One noticeable absentee from the list of candidates is Chief Minister Hubert Hughes who is calling it quits after more than 40 years in active politics.
