Guadeloupe Waives Visa Requirement for Travellers to Dominica

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Aug 30 2015 – The authorities in Guadeloupe have waived the visa requirement for travellers, including Guyanese and Jamaican nationals, entering the country in order to take a ferry to Dominica.

The waiver is valid for Sunday, August 30 and Monday August 31.

Following the passage of Tropical Storm Erika and the closure of the Douglas-Charles Airport, regional carrier LIAT has been allowing customers holding a LIAT ticket to / from Dominica to change their flight to / from Guadeloupe, Martinique or St. Lucia at no charge.
