The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) on Friday agreed to a national recount of ballots cast in the general election held on March 2.
This was communicated by the Commission’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Yolanda Ward, who added that the recount will be conducted in chronological order, from Region 1 to 10.
It was not revealed when the exercise will begin but according to Ward, all other details will be subsequently provided.
