Guyana records 11 new cases of COVID-19; total now at 150

Guyana has recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 150.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Shamdeo Persaud said the number of deaths remains at 11 and 67 people have recorded.

This means that there are 72 active COVID-19 cases in institutional quarantine, including two people who remain in the COVID-19 ICU.

To date, the total number of people tested is 1, 559 with the total number of negative cases being 1,409.
