Jamaican Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident in Antigua

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, May 26 2015 – A 34-year-old Jamaican national died on the scene of a traffic accident on Sir George Walter Highway last night.

Head of the traffic department Superintendent Macclean Hunte said the deceased, Neville Anderson of Paynters, was one of three people who were travelling in from north to south in a black Honda Civic, A40700, when the accident occurred around 7:30 pm.

The two other occupants, a male and a female, were rushed to Mount St John’s Medical Centre with serious injuries.

The car, which was badly damaged reportedly ended up “wrapped” around a utility pole.
