Antigua has recorded its first homicide for 2019.

On Thursday police said they responded to a report of an alleged suicide in Freeman’s Village.

The victim, Nicoma McFarlane, 25, was transported to the Mount St John’s Medical Centre via the Emergency Medical Services.

McFarlane, a Jamaican national residing in Freeman’s Village with her mother was suspected of ingesting Clorox, police said.
