ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Jan 08 2016 – LIAT Airlines said early Friday that it was addressing several operational and crewing issues that delayed flights over the past few days.

“I would like to extend my personal apology for the inconvenience many of you have been experiencing as a result of flight delays and cancellations,” Chief Executive Officer David Evans said in a letter to customers.

He stressed that the airline had “not been notified of any sickout or industrial action by any Union”.

Evans thanked customers for their patience while the airline seeks to resolve all matters and restore stability to the flight schedule.
