GEORGETOWN, Guyana, Jan 19 2015, CNS – Guyana police Monday said they have arrested a man who stabbed to death his 19-year-old girlfriend after she reportedly ended their relationship.
A police statement said that Sheniza Mohamed was killed at a Chinese restaurant on Saturday.
The police said their investigations revealed that Mohamed was “involved in an argument with a man with whom she is reported to have ended a relationship during which she was stabbed about her body”.
The teenager was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital where she later died.
