KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, Jan 16 2015, CNS – A mentally challenged woman, Sandra Browne, was raped and her house set on fire by an unknown assailant on New Year’s Day, it has been revealed here.
The intruder also chopped Browne’s mentally challenged male companion, 74-year-old Vulton Grant, who also suffered burns as a result of the fire.
Browne’s niece, Anesia Baptiste, who also heads the small opposition Democratic Republic Party (DRP), has denounced the incident.
