ANTIGUA – More relief supplies delivered by ECCB and affiliates

Following the devastation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) provided financial and technical support to affected member countries.

As an expression of continuing concern for and support to, severely affected families in Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda and Anguilla, the management and staff of the ECCB, the Eastern Caribbean Home Mortgage Bank, the Eastern Caribbean Stock Exchange (ECSE) and the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC) have made personal contributions to purchase additional relief supplies including food.

The ECCB also received donations from two of its external suppliers: AGRIMECH Inc. and West End Solutions.

On December 22, the products were delivered to the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

The ECCB says it hopes that these efforts will bring further relief and even some Christmas cheer to the affected families especially the children.
