CASTRIES, St. Lucia, Aug 04 2016 – The Director General of the St. Lucia-based Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Dr. Didacus Jules Thursday led the tribute to 49-year-old Raymond O’Kieffe, a Communications Officer, who died in the French Caribbean island of Martinique on Wednesday night.
The Antiguan-born journalist, who was the host of the OECS News Link, had been receiving medical treatment in the French island.
The OECS Newslink connected listeners in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. kitts-Nevis, Montserrat, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.
