Police confirm bodies of Antiguans found in St. Martin

Police in Antigua and Barbuda say the bodies of two men found floating in a pond in the French territory of St. Martin are nationals of Antigua and Barbuda.

In a statement, the Strategic Communications Department of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, said that while a missing person’s report was not filed for the two men, the bodies found were that of Pedro Jerome Potter and Ozandee Benjamin.

The police said that Potter’s body was found floating on the water around 9:30 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, while Benjamin’s body was discovered a few hours later.

The police in St. Martin said they are investigating the cause of death.
