Police Investigating Death Of American In The Bahamas

NASSAU, Bahamas, May 15 2016 – Police say they are investigating the death of a 32-year-old American national who is reported to have died while on a fishing expedition.

The police did not identify the American but said that he was part of the crew on board a 25 ft fishing vessel 10 miles of Cat Cay.

The police said the US citizen may have drowned and his body has been moved to Bimini where a post mortem is expected to be performed.

The statement gave no further details except to state “police are actively investigating this matter”.
