NASSAU, Bahamas, Apr 02 2017 – Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a policewoman late Saturday at a club in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
The police report that shortly after 9 p.m. (local time), they were called to the club after receiving reports of gunshots.
On arrival, they found the policewoman on the ground with a gunshot wound.
The name of the police woman has not been disclosed.
This latest incident is the fourth homicide on Grand Bahama and the 40th murder in The Bahamas since the start of the year.
